COMMON SENSE COMBINATION TO HEALTH
I’m going to give you 5 aspects of better health and
I know if you develop a combination of these you will go through
life healthier, happier, and more in love with life than before.
These are not listed in any order if importance, but are just
5 aspects of better health.
No 1: You either have a Ferrari as a body or an old clunker
and it is indeed unfortunate that most people will settle for
an old clunker, something that gets them from A to B without
too much discomfort. "How did it go at the office today darling?” - "
Oh, not too good-where’s my gin and tonic” sort
of thing. Well I maintain that this body was designed to perform
like a tuned, if not well tuned Ferrari, and if that’s so,
you have got to put the best Fuel into it that you can. You must
eat the best food that you possibly can, so that the body can
take from that what it needs to create new cells and continually
replace and formulate tissues and chemicals that make up life.
If you’re eating MacDonald’s hamburgers and coffee
every meal, then perhaps you might like to stop and think about
it for a moment. I say eat food as close to nature as possible
and you can’t go far wrong and you’ll know the difference.
No2: In life you must get a certain amount of exercise - life
is motion and if you sit around all day then you will eventually
pay the price. The body need a certain amount of walking or
running or some other exercise to develop tone and strength
in all organs and muscles, so buy a decent pair of shoes
or run bare footed in the park or on the beach but just get
out and do it.
No3: I have some young people who are trying to buy or build
a house and who have about 3 jobs. One from 8am - 5pm, then another
from 7pm - 10pm and then from 10.30pm - 2am - not only are they burning
the candle at both ends but eventually it will be right in the
middle also. The body needs a certain amount of rest and recuperation
to carry out its repairs and replacement of life. Obviously
the amount of sleep is different for different people and at
different times, but try and learn to listen to the body and
go to sleep if it’s telling you to.
No4: I somehow wish this next statement wasn’t true, and
I’m doing my very best to try to change this when I come
across it, but some people unfortunately enjoy being always
just a little bit sick - whether it’s the sympathy vote
they get at home or work or the breakfast in bed on a Sunday
or whatever, they are always just a little bit miserable - this
generation is the worst generation there ever has been - iinflation is rife, there’s
too much rain or too much sun - they can never think a good thing
about anything - whether its poor self esteem or a combination
of factors, they get solace out of being a little bit miserable
and bringing everyone around them down to that miserable level.
Well - I’m not saying you should go out and take Dale Carnegie
Positive Thinking courses, but I do think you have to say to
yourself, "warts and all, I am me" , and I think that’s pretty
good. You have got to learn to love yourself just a little bit,
be humble in your understanding and try to help the guy next
to you to be a little better - I call it 'put a little bit of humour
into your life each day and you can’t go too far wrong'.
Life is great and the expression of life and happiness is even
better.
No5: However, you can own shares in the local health food store,
or you can dig a trench in the beach running back and forth
and you can take a dozen Positive Thinking courses but if you
have interference to the nerve system, the connecting link between
the brain which knows what should and is going on in the body,
and the parts that should and could be doing the job, then you
have a problem and sooner or later the system will fall-down
and this is always the reason why people become unwell. Of course
we’re not talking about a traffic accident or a shotgun wound to the body - I'm talking about internal functions, and in most
cases whether they know it or not, a lack of it. Vertebral
Subluxation, that boney misalignment of the spine that puts either
direct or indirect pressure on the nerve system of living beings,
be it in the spinal cord or the spinal nerve extensions of it,
that immediately alters the correct function of the most devastating
part of the 5 aspects of better health, for without this you
can be only so good utilizing 1-4, but with this, you can start
to get the sparkle back into your eyes and the spring back into
your step again and there is no money on earth that can replace
that feeling. Your Chiropractic adjustment is worth thousands
of dollars -you think about it, and put the combination together
and start to win in life again.
