Visiting Our Rotorua Chiropractic Practice

Your First Visit : Consultation & Exam

First visit consultation with Dr. Brian Lonsdale

If you are feeling nervous about visiting a chiropractor you may be relieved to know that your first visit to our office is a consultation and examination only. We will ask you to complete our Patient Information forms. During your consultation a detail case history will be taken. We will then conduct a thorough examination to assess your posture, spinal alignment and spinal ranges of motion. If necessary, x-rays will be taken on site. You may want to allow 45 - 60 minutes for this visit.

Your Second Visit : Report of Findings

Dr. Brian Lonsdale will explain the results of your initial exam

Your second visit is a report of findings. On this visit we help you to understand the link between your spine and your health concerns - beginning with an 8 minute orientation DVD which will help you connect the dots between your present health and your spinal x-rays.

Regular Visits

Regular visits are much shorter. We will do our best to schedule chiropractic adjustments at times convenient to you.

By the way, if this approach makes as much sense to you as it does to us, we’d like an opportunity to meet you and discuss your options in person. Ring Riverholm Chiropractic today. 07 350 3337.

Dr. Brian Asks some important questions of interest to Rotorua residents - Chiropractor Rotorua Dr. Brian Asks...

Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Rotorua chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
How do most people deal with subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Rotorua chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care. Contact us and let's get started.
